Unlike his teammates, who offered glowing tributes, Cummins chose to label Kohli simply as "batter." While Usman Khawaja and Nathan Lyon called Kohli a "superstar," and Steve Smith termed him "classy," Cummins' remark sparked outrage among Indian fans.
